Product Description
The rubber boot provides Accu-gages with a blanket of protection against accidents. A short drop may cause the guage to dent or break. There is a chance to displace its accuracy as well. The rubber boot is a great way to protest your investment. Take care of your guage so it can do its job when called on.

I purchased the H60XA Accu-Gage with this rubber boot, and it really adds to the gauge for a number of reasons. Firstly I would say it adds protection in case of drops, and secondly the added heft. The weight of the gauge was nice before the rubber boot, but the hose that connects to the chuck was slightly disproportionate to the weight of the dial, and I think the rubber boot really balances it out perfectly.

I’ve got two of these boots. One for my 60 PSI Accu-gage and one for my 100 PSI Accu-gage. They were easy to install and fit tight. I like the look of them and they do spiff up the guages in my opinion. I haven’t dropped either gauge so I don’t know what level of protection, if any, that they provide the gauge.
My preference would be to have the boot on any of my gauges for some added protection against wear and tear and possibly the accidental dropping of the gauge onto concrete.

These boots seem to offer good protection. They fit a little bit loose for my taste but it is easy to put them on.
In case you are wondering these boots fit 2″ dials with 1″ depth.
The image of these boots is not entirely accurate since mine came with a round hole for the hose instead of the square hole pictured.

Since auto tire-guages have the potential to be bumped/dropped/etc., this protective boot is clearly worth two bucks. It slips on snuggly and doesn’t block meter readings or hinder gauge use in any way. If you own an Accu-Gage, you should get one of these.
